Man dies after horror Mitchell Freeway smash

A 21-year-old man has died in hospital after being hit by a car along the Mitchell Freeway.
The man was changing a tyre in the northbound emergency lane near Stirling Train Station early yesterday morning, when a white Toyota Prado crashed into his vehicle, crushing him.
He was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital, but has died overnight.
The drivers of both vehicles, a 32-year-old man and a 38-year-old man, were not injured during the crash.
