Man charged with kidnapping Cleo Smith

A 36 year old man has been charged over the kidnapping of four year old Cleo Smith.
Terence Darrell Kelly was taken into custody early yesterday shortly before officers rescued the missing girl from a locked house in the town, 900 kilometres north of Perth.
6PR and Nine News reporter Renae Henry was in court to hear the charges read.
“He made a gun symbol with his fingers toward me and at another point he felt the need to say ‘wipe that smile off your face’ towards the media who were sitting in the court room ,” she told Perth Live with Oliver Peterson.
Cleo had been missing for 18 days after disappearing from her family’s tent at the Blowholes campsite on October the 16th.
She is now safely back with her family.
