A 22-year-old man is facing a string of charges after he led police on a high-speed chase through Perth’s southern suburbs.

It’s alleged officers attempted to stop the man on Wednesday night when he sped off.

He reached speeds of up to 130km/h in a 60km/h zone.

Police say the man the lost control of the vehicle before abandoning it on Kwinana beach.

He was arrested shortly after.
