Despite Saturday’s round one loss against the Kangaroos, Eagles skipper Luke Shuey is optimistic about the team’s ability to perform well this season.

Shuey told Adam Papalia on WWOS  he is looking forward to Sunday’s home game against GWS.

‘I’m confident in the journey we’re on,” said Shuey.

“The road we’re on is going to take us to better days.”
