Fremantle defender Luke Ryan has spoken of the confronting conversations within the club following Sunday’s 53-point loss to Carlton.

Speaking on Wide World of Sports during Wednesday’s program, Ryan embraced the conversations which were had after a poor showing, and also spoke of the heated on-field moments following various Carlton goals.

“Sometimes it might be a little bit heated during the game, but that’s just because of the passion and care for the club.”

“It’s a good stepping stone for where we want to get to just because we’re such a young list.”

Ryan was forthright when addressing the conversations with a young squad.

“We need to come out of ourselves and grow up in a sense.”
