Star Docker Luke Ryan praised Nat Fyfe’s return on the weekend, predicting the dual Brownlow medallist will hit his straps in coming weeks.

“He was a bit rusty at the start, even he admits it, he’s gonna be like that for a couple of weeks but… once he starts playing his good footy it’s going to make us a whole lot better side,” Ryan told Gareth Parker in his regular spot on 6PR Breakfast.

The All-Australian defender revealed he was catching up on sleep and “shooting some hoops” during rare time off due to Fremantle’s bye this weekend but, with a training session scheduled tomorrow, was unable to enjoy a few bevvies on a sunny Thursday.

“Is today nice weather is it? Oh, on our last day. Wish I could go to the pub but we can’t,” he told Parker.
