Lotterywest will investigate claims that in store scanners for lottery tickets are giving false readings by declaring winning tickets as losers.

6PR’s Rumour File was contacted by ‘Winning Ticket’ who said that he had witnessed two incidents where customers had scanned their tickets and told they weren’t winners only to be proven that they were wining tickets after the agent doubled checked on their scanner.

Jodie Nunns from Lotterywest says it is impossible for the publicly accessible scanners and the agents scanner to give different readings but said if anyone wanted to contact her they would investigate the allegations.
