A 70-year-old woman is recovering in a Darwin hospital, after being attacked by a crocodile on the banks of the Three Mile Creek in Wyndham.

The attack happened as the woman walked her dogs along the creek around 2.30pm on Wednesday afternoon.

Mike Snowball owns the nearby Five Rivers Cafe, and has told Gary Adshead how the residents of Wyndham have been affected by the attack in the centre of town.
