West Aussies collectively rejoiced when toddler “Jimmy” O’Reilly was found after a 12-hour search in Yallingup on Saturday evening.

The Police officer in charge of the search through the bushland told 6PR Breakfast they used a combination of people-power and technology to conduct the search, as well as getting into the mind of a three-year-old.

“Thinking ‘what would little Jimmy do’. He’s three, it’s cold, it’s wet, it’s raining, how far’s he going to go, how far should we go,” Inspector Martin Voyez told 6PR Breakfast.
