Listeners have flooded the Millsy at Midday program with suggestions after the program revealed car number plate slogans were set to return to registered WA vehicles.

Contributor Russell Collett told Steve Mills a final decision had not been made on the slogan, with the phones running hot from people quick to offer their ideas.

“The State of Excitement was the latest,” he said during the Who’s Paying The Rent segment on 6PR.

“What about ‘WA – The Police State’, or ‘The Nanny State’?”

Other previous slogans include ‘Home of the America’s Cup’ and ‘The Golden State’, with one listener’s new suggestion – ‘The Coastline State’ – earning early praise from Mills.

While on the topic of branding, Collett also revealed Ningaloo Glass Bottom Boat Tours owner Craig Kitson had named their new tour bus ‘David Attenborough’, with the prominent British environmentalist confirming his approval in a letter back to the company.
