One punch victim Danny Hodgson slapped with legal notice for unpaid ambulance bills

One punch victim Danny Hodgson has been slapped with legal action from debt collectors ‘Baycorp,’ over an unpaid ambulance bill from the day he was attacked at Perth Train Station.
Danny was left fighting for his life after the coward punch attack, where he now lives with permanent brain damage and the debt collectors knocking at his door.
Nicola Hodgson, Danny’s mother, toldĀ 6PR Breakfast that the bill originally landed on Danny’s doorstep just a fortnight after the attack, while he was in intensive care.
“Obviously Danny has tried to contest it by saying he was a victim of crime in an unprovoked attack – but Danny has still been hit with the bill,” Ms Hodgson said.

“Honestly it has absolutely gobsmacked us that Danny got this bill in the first place, I mean he was a victim of crime. It seems like victims don’t get any support.”
St John Ambulance have responded to 6PR Breakfast’s interview with Nicola Hodgson, saying that they’re “looking into the circumstances of this invoice.”
