Despite successfully running since 2011, the State Government has quietly cut KidsSport vouchers from $500 to $300.

Teresa Newton, NRL WA volunteer of the year, conveyed to Perth Today host Simon Beaumont that families relying on this programme are already facing hardships.

“The purse strings are getting pulled tighter and tighter, so I think this is only going to disadvantage a lot of those children when it is so important for them to be out there playing sports,” she said.
