Josh Kennedy will be back running tomorrow after he injured his ankle during the final home and away game of the season.

Kennedy rolled his left ankle in the first quarter against North Melbourne on Thursday, but he remains optimistic to play in the first game of the finals against Collingwood.

“It’s been alright; just swelling. I’m just trying to get the swelling at the moment which I’ve done a pretty good job over the weekend,” Kennedy told 6PR Breakfast.

“It’s all looking pretty positive and it’s all stable; so [I’ll] get through training tomorrow and probably build up Friday and Saturday to be a chance to play next week.”
