Karratha officer in HIV scare after alleged intentional incident
It is alleged that a police officer in Karratha was splashed with blood by a 45-year-old woman who has tested positive for HIV.

The alleged offender is scheduled to appear in Karratha court Tuesday.
Assistant Commissioner Paul Coombes told 6PR Mornings host Simon Beaumont that police allege the act was intentional.
“It is a very concerning event and just highlights what frontline police officers are faced with, not knowing when they’re going into situations like this”, he said.
The accused has not entered a plea or commented on the charge.
