West Coast forward Josh Kennedy is hopeful of a return against the Bulldogs this weekend and signalled other key teammates weren’t far from resuming, as the Eagles languish last on the AFL ladder with a 2-8 record.

In his regular segment on 6PR Breakfast, Kennedy told host Gareth Parker the 52-point loss to the Giants on Sunday was disappointing but the club’s fortunes would turn in coming weeks as senior players return from injury.

The star veteran, in his final season, also hinted at what his future might entail once he hangs up the boots as the club’s all-time leading goalkicker.
