Eagles superstar Josh Kennedy has predicted a return to the team of Dom Sheed, who had 37 touches in the WAFL at the weekend.

He said West Coast, struggling at the foot of the AFL ladder with a 1-11 record, need to improve their defensive attitude to avoid being blown away early, a common trait for the club this season.

“Being able to control a stampede early on, comes down to a bit of mindset, and making sure we’re all switched on and working together,” he told Gareth Parker in his weekly segment on 6PR Breakfast.

“Being able to slow that down and stop that is something we’ve been working on, teams that kick 5 or 6 goals against us in the early quarter, it’s hard to peg that back.”
