Bouncer Sports Centre in Joondalup has closed its doors due to rising rent, leaving teams awaiting refunds.

Lisa Slocum, spokesperson for the netball team Dodgy Bods, informed Perth Today host Simon Beaumont that the facility ceased operations just weeks into the netball season, and attempts to contact them regarding fee refunds have been unsuccessful.

“Two of our players actually paid on the Tuesday, the night before we got the email to say it was closing,” she said.
