A number of profile football players including Melbourne’s Ben Brown are refusing to have their image used by the AFL’s wagering partner SportsBet.

The players are ‘opting out’ of featuring in any betting advertising due to ethical concerns.

6PR Afternoons host Jo McManus is in full support of players refusing to have their images used in betting advertisements.

“I reckon Ben Brown is doing a great thing,” said Jo.
