JK says club guidelines urge players to use common sense

With his nightclubbing days well behind him, spearhead Josh Kennedy has provided some clarity on what West Coast players are and aren’t allowed to do outside the club in their own hours .
Club management has been criticised from the AFL Players Association after fines were imposed on players for attending the Hip-E Club in Leederville, 24 hours after the 109-point loss to Richmond in Perth last week.
“There’s no rules on certain things… just common sense is the big thing that a lot of us have put down to the players,” he told host Gareth Parker about the guidelines that players were issued during his regular Tuesday morning segment on 6PR Breakfast.
“We’re all adults here… they make decisions based on what’s best for themselves and what they’re doing. Guys obviously didn’t understand the ripple effect of their actions. Everyone makes mistakes, we understand that.”
