John Farnham transferred to rehabilitation facility amid cancer fight
John Farnham’s family says the music legend is “progressing well” and doctors are pleased with his recovery after undergoing surgery for mouth cancer.
It was announced last month the singer had a cancerous mouth tumor and underwent marathon 12-hour surgery in a Victorian hospital.
The Farnham family said in a statement the 73-year-old was this week transferred into a rehabilitation facility.

“Each of these steps means things are moving in the right direction and for that we are enormously thankful,” they said, before thanking Victorian medical professionals involved with the singer’s care.
