Eagles spearhead Josh Kennedy has reflected on becoming just the 25th player in AFL/VFL history to kick 700 goals.

Friday night’s milestone for the club’s all-time leading goalkicker was a rare highlight in an otherwise disappointing 109-point loss to Richmond at Optus Stadium.

Speaking to Gareth Parker in his regular Tuesday morning segment on 6PR Breakfast, Kennedy said the achievement was something he would look back fondly on.

“It was special, individually having my mum there who I waved to, they’re little moments you will cherish,” he said.
