‘It’s never been done before’: Australia revolutionises air travel

In January 200 Australian-made satellites will be launched into space to better manage Australian air traffic.
The satellites will feature real-time communication between air-traffic controllers and pilots.
Skykraft CEO Michael Frater told 6PR Perth Live the technology is the first of its kind in the world.
“This will work no matter where our aircraft is in the world,” said Mr Frater.
