‘It’s like science fiction’: pioneering new cancer treatment approved

A cutting-edge cancer treatment labelled as a “total paradigm shift” is about to be released in Australia, with the hopes it will improve the health of those suffering from the most aggressive forms of the disease.

CAR T-cell therapy is expected to soon be approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration for conditions like leukemia and myeloma.
