The first shipment of coal from the East States has arrived in Western Australia.

This comes after worrying figures were released highlighting a potential shortage in WA-sourced coal.

State Liberal Party leader David Honey told 6PR Afternoons the state of WA power is a failure by the WA government.

“What’s clear is we’ve got a power source in chaos,” said Mr Honey.
