It was hard to watch the Grand Final: Luke Shuey

West Coast Eagles midfielder Luke Shuey has collected his second John Worsfold medal at the club’s Best and Fairest event on Friday night.

The ball magnet beat the likes of Elliot Yeo and Brad Sheppard to take home the medal, but the 2016 and 2019 winner told 6PR he wasn’t expecting the accolade at all.

“It’s a privilege to win at such a great club. It was a great night; celebrated a good season for the most part,” Shuey says.

The 2018 Premiership player also added it was difficult to watch this year’s Grand Final after knowing he was there only the year before.
