A woman has escaped serious injury after crashing into a power pole in Cloverdale overnight.

Police say the woman failed to give way at the Fisher Street intersection and as a result, a second car swerved to avoid collision and smashed into residential fencing.

Nine News and 6PR reporter Ashtyn Hiron told Millsy and Karl the damages are quite extensive.

“Thankfully the injuries were minor and no one came out incredibly injured,” Ms Hiron said.
