A 10.5-metre adolescent humpback whale died after beaching at Port Kennedy.

Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions Swan regional manager and incident controller Benson Todd told 6PR Mornings host Simon Beaumont that officials were collecting measurements and biological samples for analysis.
“It will be removed from the beach to prevent any shark risk”, Todd said.
