Ultra-marathon runner Katie Lovis and her friend Jarrad Bolton plan to run all 660 kilometres of the Gib River Road in 10 days.

They’re running to raise money for cancer research after Jarrad survived stage four melanoma.

Katie Lovis told 6PR Afternoons the cause is very close to their hearts.
