Jack Darling is set for a shock return to West Coast after a COVID-19 vaccine backflip that will see the 236-gamer back at the club for season 2022.

After reportedly trying to gain an exemption from the vaccine, which was knocked back by the AFL, the star key forward will return to training with this teammates at the Eagles after a six-week hiatus under league regulations.

West Coast has been tipped to struggle this season and open their season next Sunday, March 20, at Optus Stadium against Gold Coast.
