With mosquito-borne diseases on the rise, researchers are urging Australian households to put Mossie Monitors in their yards in the name of science.

Researchers are able to study the mosquitos and let residents know if dangerous mosquito-borne diseases are present in their area.

University of Sydney Research Associate in School Science Education Dr Larissa Braz Sousa told Gary Adshead on The Gary Adshead Show the findings could prevent the spread of disease.
