The Commonwealth Bank of Australia has released a new ‘carbon tracker’ called CoGo on the Commbank app allowing people to track their carbon footprint.

CoGo calculates a person’s carbon footprint based on how and where they spend their money.

CoGo chief operating officer Christina Bellis told 6PR Mornings host Liam Bartlett that the app is about educating people on reducing their carbon footprint.

“It’s really about the understanding, measuring and reducing prior to getting to that offset piece,” said Ms Bellis.
