How Rihanna cashed in from her genius Super Bowl marketing
Rihanna’s Super Bowl performance was packed with surprises, from her second pregnancy announcement to the clever marketing stunt that got her paid.
Performers usually don’t get paid for the Super Bowl however, after a six year hiatus and using a makeup mirror from her beauty brand ‘Fenty’ during the performance, Rihanna cashed in.
“Legally, they get paid a tiny amount – but if you look at the charts today on the iTunes top 100, 27 of the 100 are Rihanna songs,” Peter Ford told 6PR Breakfast.
