Nick Kyrgios has reportedly usedĀ  cutting-edge technology to track his car after it was stolen form his mother at gunpoint.

The bright green luxury Tesla was stolen in Canberra by a man Ms Kyrgios de3scribed as “wearing a black face mask” before asking her to show him how to drive it.

CarsGuide journalist Richard Berry told Millsy and Karl onĀ 6PR Breakfast tracking devices in Teslas are common, but their development could be opening a whole new frontier in vehicular theft.

“If you get a hacker who can go in and over the air get control of your vehicle’s functions, they could remotely steal your car,” Mr Berry said.
