Hong Kong offers 500,000 free flights in bid to lure tourists back

Hong Kong has unveiled their extraordinary tourism campaign that will offer 500,000 free flights to help inject tourists back into their economy after 3 years of strict Covid lockdowns.
Managing director at Australian Traveller.com, Quentin Long, says South East Asian residents will get first allocation of the free tickets.
“Look it’s a great giveaway – the interesting thing is that these air tickets were actually booked in 2000 in order to keep the airline alive,” Mr Long told Millsy and Karl.

“You’ve got to be in it to win it, they haven’t actually said how many Australia will be allocated but we are third in the row.”
