Homicide detectives in Perth are this morning investigating the death of a woman whose body was discovered floating in Fremantle Harbour.

The woman’s death is being treated as suspicious and no arrests have been made in relation to the case.

Police said it took hours to identify the woman and the circumstances of her death and placement in the harbour raised suspicions.
