Homeless turned unsung hero: Perth man’s life saving food relief program
After living on the streets for a number of years, Josh Serafini has dedicated his life to using his experience as an advocate for the homeless sector and shares his story with people in need.
Josh further launched a food relief program, ‘Home Karawara Kitchen’, where he cooks meals for the homeless, providing support to many who desperately need it.
“I have been working with Shelter WA on their walking tours which have also been successful, it’s another line of education that I am trying to bring into the community,” Josh told Ian Blackley onĀ 6PR Afternoons.
“The combinations of finding yourself, your self care and your self love, were not that important in my life until now where I use them as values and share those personal growth experiences with others.”
