Federal politician Andrew Wilkie has accused Hillsong Church of breaking numerous financial laws.

The independent MP used parliamentary privilege to expose a laundry list of accusations against the church, including spending huge amounts of money on luxury items and holidays.

News Corp investigative reporter Stephen Drill told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings the church allegedly spent $150,000 in three days at a resort in Mexico.

Press PLAY to hear more about the accusations levelled at the Australian Church:

The church dispute the claims, with a spokesman saying Mr Wilkie’s comments were out of context and based on “untested allegations”.
