The 80th Sydney to Hobart race is set to begin on Boxing Day, and with 130 entries, it promises to be one of the most competitive in recent memory.

Olympic medallist and Channel 9 Commentator Lisa Darmanin explained to Perth Live host Russel Collett that the race is expected to start in windy conditions.

“When you get out there, it doesn’t matter who you are, you’ve just got to deal with what nature throws at you,” she said.
