The WACA’s pace and bounce may be a feature in tomorrow’s opening test match between Australia and Pakistan despite being played at Optus stadium.

Head Curator Isaac McDonald is hoping to reward WA cricket crowds with a pitch that will pay homage to WACA, the curator told Mark Readings on 6PR Wide World of Sport he hopes there to be pace and carry.

“Hopefully the characteristics of the traditional WACA wicket will come through”, McDonald  said.
