The Seniors Recreation Council of WA (SRC) is proud to present Have a Go Day, supported by 882 6PR, on Wednesday 12th November at Burswood Park, Great Eastern Highway Burswood from 8.30am to 3pm.

This year Have a Go Day celebrates it’s 22nd year with over 220 sites specifically addressing senior’s interests, services and activities.  The theme for 2014 is "Seniors in Sport and Recreation".

Get there by 10.30am for the opening ceremony with Steve Mills.

Drop by the 6PR/Have a Go News Hospitality Marquee site 141 and you could be in the running to win an escape to Karri Valley Resort or tickets to see The Searchers.

Highlights of the day are Music based activities, WA Bush Poets & Yarn Spinners, Justin Friend, Frank Sinatra & Friends Show, Have a Go Day Official Walk, Prime Movers Exercise to Music, Jims Country Sing-a-long, West Coast Chordsmen, Heart Foundation Walk, Major Prize Draw and the WA Police Pipe Band Concert.
