Oliver Peterson shared his personal experience trying to see a GP last week, where he didn’t have COVID but was feeling under the weather.

After being told the next appointment was only available in four days, Oly decided to google “telehealth appointment now” where within minutes he was speaking to a Practitioner via Facetime for only $30.00.

Oly was able receive his prescription via text within minutes.

On Perth Live Oliver spoke to Ramya Raman, WA Chair of Royal College of General Practitioners to discuss how it was so easy to receive a script through Telehealth consultations, at the same time as doctors continue to turn patients away from face to face consultation over COVID fears.
