A family-run hardware store in Yokine in Perth’s north has been badly damaged after a fire broke out overnight.

Emergency services were called to Yokine Hardware on Flinders street just after 1am on Tuesday.

The arson squad is attending the scene, it’s believed the fire is suspicious.
