There are growing calls for all Doctors to list their fees on a simple cost finder website. 

Private Healthcare Australia CEO Rachel David told Oliver Peterson on 6PR’s Perth Live she wants to see greater transparency and communication about the costs. 

“Doctors need to do a better job of telling patients in advance of the out of pocket cost they’re likely to receive preferable in the form of an upfront quote with all the costs on it,” David said. 

“It’s not that difficult and it’s what people expect.”
