Police have confirmed that they have found a body at a lake near Lansdale and believe it to be the body of missing toddler Sammy Trott

Police say just before 10:00am this morning, a search team conducting a search of water in the Snake Swamp area in Warradale park located the body of a young child.

The child was located deceased, and is believed to be missing two year old boy Sam TROTT.

The area where the child’s body was located has been cordoned off by police.

WA Police would sincerely like to thank members of the public and SES volunteers who have kindly given their time to assist in this search.
