Grab a Greeting Card

Article image for Grab a Greeting Card

“Thinking of you week” starts this Sunday and Aussies are being encouraged to send a handwritten greeting card to a loved one.

The Australian Greeting Card Association says there’s a good reason to send a bit of love in the form of a handwritten note with 83% of people feeling positive when they receive a personal letter or card in the mail.

President of the Association Henry Kovacevich told 6PR Breakfast it can even give you joy as you prepare a greeting card.
“You personalise it, you’ve got your hand writing on there, you put a stamp on it, you’ve put the effort into putting it into the envelop and the post box and imagine the smile that comes on the face of the recipient,” Mr Kovacevich said.
