Gary Adshead lifts the lid on two new Shalom House hypocrisies

New details have emerged surrounding the hypocrisy of Shalom House’s women’s refuge development in Craigie.
Gary Adshead revealed on 6PR Mornings that the Sister’s of Mercy Catholic Church was ‘absolutely delighted’ that their facility was to be used for a good cause, giving Shalom House their blessing.
However, the nearby Catholic School is still up in arms, with the school announcing that they will fit perimeter gates and update their CCTV cameras.
“So how can one arm of the Catholic Church sell a building to Shalom – while another section of the church, the nearby Catholic School, threaten to stop it happening?” Gary said.

In conflicting statements, Gary also was made aware of a mail out to local Craigie residents that stated the government is looking to change planning laws to placate the whining residents of Craigie.
“All week we’ve seen the McGowan government saying it’s time to stop local, self indulgent nimbies from blocking developments that are good for investments and for communities,
“Seriously? Is this a Labor Government? Or a right wing conservative government?”
