Gang member in custody following Baldivis shooting

Nine News

A 53-year-old Rebels bikie member has been arrested in a raid on a Gosnells home this morning, following a shooting in Baldivis yesterday afternoon.

It was part of a number of raids on Perth properties after a Mongols bikie member was shot at up to 10 times out the front of his home on Amazon Drive.

He jumped a neighbours fence trying to escape, and a number of bullets went into the home, causing residents to dive for cover.

Detective Senior Sergeant Bevan Roe says they’ll continue the raids to crack down on those involved.

“We simply do not tolerate bikie-related violence spilling onto our streets,” Roe said.

“The incident shows a blatant disregard for the safety of our community, to have neighbours cowering in their homes and fearing for their safety is completely unacceptable.”
