Port Adelaide powered into the fourth quarter to snatch a 31-point win from the West Coast Eagles at Domain Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

West Coast had a lead heading into half time, but by the last break Port Adelaide had leveled the scores and Charlie Dixon encouraged his team with three majors in the second half while Robbie Gray also stepped up in the final quarter to finish 13.10 (88) to 18.12 (120).

Dixon had five goals for Port Adelaide; Eagles forwards Jack Darling and Mark LeCras kicked four goals apiece and Andrew Gaff amassed 28 disposals.

“We’ve got some big bodied mids who work pretty hard defensively and then are able to spread and work pretty hard,” Brad Ebert spoke with our commentary team after the game.

“Obviously in the last quarter we couldn’t stop them… we just weren’t able to match them for long enough,” Scott Lycett spoke with us after the Eagles loss.

“This wasn’t a personell issue today, when you bring back their captain, LeCras, Priddis and Lycett, we think that should add value.” Hear what Adam Simpson had to say after the game.

“I thought we learnt and adjusted a lot from our last time against West Coast.” Hear what Ken Hinkley had to say about his team’s win.
