Article image for GAME DAY: Eagles shake off Magpies

The West Coast Eagles have shaken off the Magpies, dominating the final quarter to take out the 62-point win at Domain Stadium on Sunday.

Only 10-points separated the sides late in the third quarter with Collingwood sneaking in a couple of unanswered goals, but Tom Langdon exited early from the game with a suspected leg injury and West Coast took advantage of their opportunities to finish the game 18.16 (124) to 9.8 (62).

Jamie Cripps stood out in the final term kicking three goals in the quarter, while Josh Kennedy kicked three goals, six behinds for the game and Mark LeCras also added three majors.

Jack Crisp was the shining light for the Magpies with his 26 disposals and a goal and Adam Treloar worked hard for his 32 disposals.
