The Fremantle Dockers have claimed their first road win of the season, easily defeating Carlton by 57-points at Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

It took over half the game before Carlton could kick a goal, but they finally managed a major and outscored the Dockers by a point in the third quarter. However, the damage had been done, and Carlton recorded their lowest ever score against Fremantle, 6.10 (46) to Fremantle’s 15.13 (103).

Nat Fyfe starred in his 150th game with 30 disposals and two goals, but he was outclassed by Lachie Neale with 33 disposals and three goals.

Hear how the game played out…

“The way we were able to tackle and pressure them and [force them to] turn the ball over is something that we’ve been working on and it’s nice that its come together for a couple of weeks now,” Connor Blakely told 6PR after the win.

“You write your own story in this business, it’s a performance industry and today we performed,” Ross Lyon said after Fremantle’s win.

“We’ve certainly acknowledged Nathan’s [Fyfe] performance, but he’s one player, as a group we need to stand up and show our respect and put in a really strong effort,” Fremantle Assistant coach Anthony Rock told 6PR before the game.
